we began working together several years ago on @leadupstatesc - honoring law enforcement in the Upstate.

•
over zoom, we had a conversation centered around a shared love of typography, composition, and the creative process. i got goosebumps throughout that day. it was an instantaneous connection of the least expected kind.
•
there’s much to love about this one. she’s got moxie, but with a side of southern charm. she’s the smallest little tiny tornado i’ve ever met - and at 4’10” i’m not exaggerating.
•
as “perfectly perfect” as she is, macale has my kind of grit + determination. i’m here for it. she listens, and absorbs what everyone is trying to express. i know this first hand, because she’s able to understand what’s jumbled in my mind. she’s my creative translator.
•
i thought that day i zoomed with her i was coming down with the flu, given all the goosebumps. turns out it was just god telling me i had stumbled upon yet another perfect fit. what a darling she is.
•
macale is the lead creative of our graphic design team. whether it’s custom website design, print ads, logo creation, social media graphics, or anything in between, macale executes each project flawlessly. she helps brands tell their stories through perfect pairings of typography + color that are effortlessly intricate.

•
macale also was on the sidelines of Death Valley as a co-ed cheerleader. go tigers! @clemsoncheer
•
she gained extensive experience working for a corporation in Florida where she worked alongside regional and national clients in the development of custom graphics and creative solutions.
•
macale, you are so easy to love. thank you for all you do!

Xx,

<sweet samantha> goodness I’ve been waiting for <sweet samantha> goodness I’ve been waiting for today to share my love and appreciation for my sweet sam.
•
when i needed to add a graphic designer the other year, my former coworker from corporate said “she is made for you. just trust me. I’m sending you five people, but you’ll pick her.”
•
sam walked in on a rainy evening after work to meet me. her warm, calm, cool demeanor felt like home. in many ways, i felt like i was meeting a sister. my coworker was spot on. sam was the just right fit to my Goldilocks situation.
•
sam is an enneagram 2, words of affirmation, just like me. we read each other’s minds like none other.
•
sam never seeks the spotlight, though her clients (ranging from huge corporations to state higher education to local businesses next door) sure do email me constantly about how great she is.
•
after growing up in the lowcountry, Sam moved to the upstate to attend @clemsonuniversity
•
while earning a Bachelors of Science in Graphic Communications, she interned with multiple agencies in the Greenville area leading her to discover her true passion of serving others through graphic design, social media marketing and other various forms of content creation.
•
sweet sam worked as an Adobe Creative Cloud Ambassador where she led both the social media and graphics team in addition to conducting workshops on the various Adobe programs.
•
sam began a freelance design journey where she further grew her client communication and project management capabilities.
•
she believes her drive to go above and beyond for those that surround her stems from her love for building meaningful and positive relationships with people.
•
sweet sam enjoys finding new hikes to go on with her dog and fiancé, and is always sure to catch the Clemson football game on a Saturday — go Tigers!
•
her wedding is coming right up here soon - and we are thrilled to shower her with love!
•
thank you, sweet sam, for being so decidedly you. you are a gift.
Xx, dfs

outside of the office, you’ll likely find her exploring downtown or dreaming up & working on projects at her house with her husband and pup. She loves traveling to the coast and is the most content on a warm beach with a good book in hand.
•
kayla, you are so easy to love. thank you for all you do for our dfs family & our dfs client-family!

recently, our team worked hand-in-hand with The University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, a client who has been with us for years now, on the launch of LMed 2.0.

working with The School of Medicine Greenville allows us to flex our multimedia muscles a good bit via podcasting, videography, photography, digital advertising, graphic design, and so much more.
•
we’ve also got some very exciting news to announce for our other gamecock client, The University of South Carolina, pretty soon. stay tuned!
